Salas Aircraft & Auto Works

I engaged Mr. Israel Salas to do a major cleaning, compound, and polish on my '62 A-55 Baron. The aircraft has not been painted for 20 plus years and the last major polish on the paint was done by me over 5 years ago. I was debating having it repainted because of the overall dullness of the finish. I'm glad I didn't.

 

Israel is very experienced in the care and treatment of both cars and airplanes having grown up in a family involved in the business. His knowledge of the correct way to restore the luster of my aging aircraft was obvious from the beautiful results.

 

He completely cleaned the aircraft first which included degreasing the underside engine areas, and wheel wells, and wheels. He then compound the oxidize paint, followed by waxing and clear coat finish. The result was truely amazing. He also took great care in shampooing the carpets and fabric seat inserts, as well as dressing the leather trim pieces in the seats and cabin area.

 

Mr. Salas is dependable, honest, and did a commendable job giving my aircraft new life and shine. I highly recommend him for his talents. I don't think you will find better.
